about

New material from our forthcoming third album, this tune takes its name from a once-popular Tulsa haunted-house attraction which is no longer in operation.

lyrics

He was a black boy, taste of candy-apple on his tongue;
She was a white girl, side-by-side they stood in love so young;
They bought the ticket for the ride and stepped into the car;
Crashing through seven doors, they climbed the hill into the deepest dark!

Oh! In the night
Can you see, see the light?
In the dark, hold me tight
And we’ll see, it’s alright!

In spite of the snakes and skeletons that rattle in the dark;
In spite of the sign that warned of swift removal from the park;
They left the track and found a place behind a scene of gore
And traded passions in the halls of this Phantasmagoria!

Oh! In the night
Can you see, see the light?
In the dark, hold me tight
And we’ll see, it’s alright!

Adam and Eve were walking;
They were alone and talking,
Watching a star, so small,
Burning beyond the wall.

And it was a lovely garden,
But Daddy was always watching,
Weighing the bad and good;
He never understood;

Adam and Eve were walking;
They were alone and talking:
In the glade,
There was an

Apple.
